Hello and welcome to the investors club....where great minds meet!
Well lets get down to it.....this will be quite interesting, eye-opening and educating.
A friend of mine once asked me the following:
why is it that some people make it big while other don't when it comes to investments and business?
what does it take to make an investment/Business a success?
What and where should you place your investments?
Well those were not all that he asked even as i write i still can't come up with the rest and neither do i have all the answers to the ones above...but i will try to do justice to his burning questions and will love your input.
First and formost the important thing to do when it comes to investment is to plan out how you want to go about it...what your ROI will be, when and how you want to compound it, when you need to make withdrawals and when to reinvest. There is the important saying that when you fail to plan you plan to fail and this is where some investors get it wrong...the planning stage. When deciding to make an investment planning needs to be taken into consideration. This is the hardest part of the investment process as man tries to avoid anything that will make him think or ponder.
Secondly you need to strategize, you need to have a strategy in place to take care of eventualities. The right strategy just might be what is needed to turn that investment that has been floundering into a winner...have a money management strategy, have a marketting strategy if needed, have a risk management strategy and any of the other strategies needed depending on the type of investment.
Lastly you need to be motivated..yes! Motivation just might be the missing ingredient that is needed to fire up your investment/business. There comes a time in the life of every investor when investment/business is staggering and motivation is low, this is the time to look at the bigger picture, review your investment plans and restrategise...this is the time to get motivated.
In the next post we shall look at the remaining questions and also at the different categories of investments.
Don't forget to leave your comments and your burning questions.
To your success
